Welcome to Compass Behavioral Health and Wellness. We specialize in providing comprehensive mental health services to individuals and their families. Using an integrated therapeutic approach, we strive to help our clients navigate their journey through difficult times. Jennifer Pellicano
Jennifer Pellicano, Psy.D. is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist, and a founding partner of Compass Behavioral Health and Wellness, LLC. Her goal is to empower her clients to explore their emotional experiences, to work towards understanding their interpersonal relationships, and to identify individual strengths through a collaborative therapeutic relationship. Dr. Pellicano obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in Clinical Psychology at Benedictine University in Lisle, Illinois, and a Master of Arts degree in I/O Psychology from Roosevelt University in Schaumburg, Illinois. Prior to entering clinical practice, Jennifer worked at Accenture HR Services providing employee relations consultations to a variety companies across the United States. Dr. Pellicano then completed her Doctoral Degree at The Illinois School of Professional Psychology at Argosy University in Schaumburg, Illinois. She specializes in treating adolescents, young adults and older adults. Dr. Pellicano completed her doctoral internship at South Campus Therapeutic Day School in Palatine, Illinois. This experience allowed her the opportunity to work with both children and adolescents that struggled to remain in public schools, on a daily basis. As a result, she developed the skills necessary to work with children and adolescents with a variety of mental health struggles. Dr. Pellicano completed her post-doctoral training at Centennial Counseling Center in Sandwich, Illinois. She worked with clients of all ages and backgrounds in a rural community. As a result, she has learned to develop effective therapeutic relationships with individuals of all ages and socioeconomic classes. Dr. Pellicano was employed by Centennial Counseling Center until deciding to start Compass Behavioral Health and Wellness Center, LLC in 2018. Dr. Pellicano is passionate about providing psychotherapeutic services to children, adolescents, adults, and families. She has an extensive background working in school settings, having the opportunity to work with children in local public schools and in a specialized therapeutic day school. This experience enables Dr. Pellicano to provide comprehensive therapy, diagnostic assessments, and consultation for children and adolescents who struggle with mood disorders, behavioral disorders, social skill deficits, and ADHD. Dr. Pellicano’s educational approach to difficult life situations enables parents to benefit from participation in treatment. She also enjoys working with adult clients struggling with depression, anxiety, employment difficulties, relational conflict, and significant life transitions. Areas of interest include oppositional-defiant adolescents, anger management, anxiety, depression, and trauma.

Kristi Finn
Kristi Finn, MA, LCPC is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and founding partner of Compass Behavioral Health and Wellness, PLLC in Naperville, IL. She specializes in working with adults, parents, women, and children navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, life transitions, parenting, postpartum challenges, adoption, and the weight of everyday stress.
Kristi’s therapeutic style is warm, collaborative, and trauma informed. She approaches each client with genuine curiosity and compassion, believing that real change comes from helping clients access their own inner wisdom and capacity for growth. Kristi is a Level 2 trained Internal Family Systems (IFS) clinician and integrates IFS into her practice to support deep, lasting healing.
With over 20 years of experience in mental health, Kristi brings a rich background to her work. She holds a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology at Argosy University and has specialized training in attachment, brain development, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), Theraplay, and Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI). She is also trained in SPACE (Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions), a parenting intervention for children with OCD and anxiety, and has additional experience providing Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) therapy.

Our Services
Beginning a journey toward improved mental health for yourself or a loved one is a difficult step to take. We believe the relationship between a client(s) and their clinician is of upmost importance in the therapeutic process. Insurance
We encourage clients to contact their insurance company to verify benefits. If you choose to begin treatment at Compass Behavioral Health and Wellness and are not covered by one of the in-network plans, you will need to utilize out-of-network benefits and submit claims directly to your insurance company. Insurance companies vary a great deal when it comes to out-of-network benefits. Full payment is expected at the time of service.

Q: How do I schedule an appointment at Compass Behavioral Health and Wellness?
A: Please call 630-453-5188 or contact your clinician directly via email. We recommend reviewing each clinician’s bio prior to contacting us.
Q: Do I have to contact my insurance company prior to scheduling my appointment?
A: It can be helpful to contact your insurance company to assure your clinician is covered by your policy. In some cases, you will need to obtain an authorization number. We will also verify your benefits prior to your appointment to determine your coverage.
Q: Do I need to submit my claims to my insurance company?
A: We will submit claims to your insurance provider if you are covered by one of the in-network providers listed above. If your insurance is out-of-network, you will need to submit the claim using the appropriate documentation we provide. If you are using out-of-network benefits or choosing not to use insurance, please refer to the link provided in the forms section related to the No Surprises Act to learn about your protections.
Q: What can I expect during the first session?
A: The initial session typically lasts 60 minutes. We will spend time gathering information about you and your reason for seeking counseling. We will also discuss our policies and answer any questions related to the therapy process.
